Materials: 97% polyester, 3% spandex stretch charmeuse satin, metal screen mesh, acrylic buttons and beads, glass beads, pearls

The juxtaposition McQueen cemented between softness and ruggedness inspired me to use fluid, shiny satin, iridescent buttons and pearls, and feathers with metal screen mesh. I hand sewed on all the buttons and beads and used the metal screen to create dimension and volume off of the form.
